source for panel nuts

i'm looking for a metric panel nut with an inner thread size of M12x1.25 but with a large outside diameter. the nut will hold a custom light switch to radio console and needs to be thin. all of the nuts i've found so far that will fit have very small outer diameters. i actually want the retaining nut to show, rather than be hidden by the knob switch, so i'm looking for one with a large outer diameter.
