Engine compartment painted and ready for v6

Engine compartment is painted and the final assembly of the steering is done.
I just need a new pressure plate for the clutch and some lower control arm bushings. 8)

all these big motor conversions make me nervous because you cut away the upper transverse bracing on the firewall. It seems to me it would be worthwhile to install a removable brace across that gap. It would help if your motor is aluminum.

That is the plan actually. :) but first I have get everything in there and see what room I have left.
Btw the engine is only 75 lbs heavier than the twin cam.
the only issues I had in the first car I built were caused by extreme rust damage weakening the structure of the car.
