Bumper conversion

I made a single tube bumper from the old twin tube set up and did not like it. I have acquired two sets of old school bumpers, all challenged in their own way. So, I am in the process of converting them to the bumper shocks. The plan is to have them powder or ceramic coated. Some seem to like the semi gloss black, but I will see what may be possible. The set I will use are pitted, so some prep will be involved before media blast and coating. I also will make some caps to complete the rear inner bumpers, as the license lights are of no use with this set up. The over rider guards won't be used either. I used some cooling fan isolators for the forward rear bumper mounts. They have shouldered washers and the rubber slides in the forked holders. The bumperless look was full of holes, and I have been driving with the rear bumper shocks for way too long, so I am pleased to finally have a plan.
