Hi,
I bought a 1980 Fiat 2000 Spider project car that came with some extra springs. I want to lower the back. I assume the extra springs are for lowering it, but when I jacked-up the car and measured the length of the springs on the car, with the axel hanging, the lengths were the same.
Before I go through the work of trying them on, I'd like to know if anyone can confirm that these springs will lower the back. The springs are red and have FNP-6224-2 printed on them.
Thanks,
Paul

I don't know, but those red spring might be Vick Auto, so I'd give them a call and ask. When you search their website for "6224", the red performance springs come up.

I contacted Vicks and they are the same springs. Evidently cutting the springs can be done regardless of wanting to have a flat coil on the end of the spring.
Thanks again!
