When going WOT, the throttle would sometimes stick. Cutting the engine brought it back.
This morning, I was starting it for another look at it. It got stuck without running, just sitting.
I pulled the hood release and it unstuck. ????
I examined the hood latch, and saw this:
The cable end was catching on the hood latch.
The car has been in two front end accidents, and I suspect something isn't quite right.
Anyway, I took a hammer to the latch, and moved it as far as I could in the appropriate direction.
NO MORE STICKING !!!
