alternate rims

Post by manoa matt »

I've never been one of those guys that ogle over rims or low profile tires. As a matter of fact I can't stand those spinner rims. My car has stock steel wheels that have been painted silver, with the origional hub caps. I had planed on cleaning them up and painting them gloss white. I like the look of the older Fiats with white rims.

Before I do this I was wondering if there were any other rims that might fit the Fiat 4 bolt pattern. I know that the Mazda Miata, Honda Civic, Dodge Colt, and the Scion XB use 4 bolt 13" rims. Has anyone tried to fit these rims to a Fiat. Obviously the rotor locating studs will have to be switched to bolts with low profile heads, and the rim may need to be drilled from the back to accomidate the bolt heads.

The one obstacle I see is the bolt pattern which is 4 X 98mm on a Fiat.

I have some wheels in the for sale section that need to find a good home.. check em' out. I can also make wheel adapters to go from 4x98 to 4x100 if you find some other wheels you like.
