Now the cars up higher so I lowered it back down by converting the A arms to hold a Chevy S10 2 inch drop spindles. Plus I was able to match the bolt pattern of t he Chevy rear end that it now has. Sorry I don't have many picture of the build. If I find some pictures I try and get them posted. Thanks Brad
Dropping the cross-member down two inches..then drop spindles...how much clearance do you have between the oil pan and the ground?
Thanks! :)

It is really great to hear some positive reaction to Brad's car! I have said it before, it is a work of genius mixing parts from ford and chevy into a fiat and having it end up looking so close to stock. I have ridden in it and there is only one reaction to have... holy s¥#t!!!

ROB ground clearance to the oil pan is about 5 inches. The headers are only about 3" . Speed bumps can be scary, I find myself planing my way around parking lots.

Hi Brad,

I thought it was pretty close, mine isn't much better. The first version of v6spider I didn't get the coil over shocks until some time later. By the time I had installed the coil-overs I already had banged the oil pan a couple of times. I think I have about 6" of clearance. The stock spider is known for the oil pan taking hits that's why they make an oil pan guard for it. I may do something similar if it becomes a problem! 8)

Rob, I don't know if you have checked out Alans (SoFlaFiat) build web page but he has done an incredible job I would die for his wiring.
As to the oil pan Its ben on the road 9 years with only one dent to the guard pan. We'll be seeing your brut on the road soon. its looking good. Between the two of you, your cars will put mine to shame. it would be cool to get all three together. The altered Fiat show.
