BMW Recaros fit spider?

I have access to a pair of Recaros out of a BMW 320IS. Do they fit in a spider and if so, do they make you sit higher than a stock seat?

Someone over here in Cali has BMW seats in his spider I don't remember the guys handle but i saw them in his car.

The seat pan of similar 1980s Recaros from an Alfa would not fit between the rails of the Fiat when I tried to adapt them for my Coupe. It would have meant raising the seat about 1 - 1.5".
