V6, Transmission & Driveline Installed!

Post by v6spider »

The Engine, Trans, and Driveline are now installed after moving the engine mounts ahead 3/8" and centering the transmission mount. Now I am working on fabricating radiator mounts and hooking up hoses and wiring. 8)

Cheers!

Thanks! I'm chomping at the bit. The summer is going away quick! It's not long now though.

Hi Rob,

Looking very good!

What did you end up using for a rear end?

Cheers,

Jordan

Have you gotten to the point of sorting the air filter and will it fit under the hood?

The air cleaner is still a work in progress... But I have 2.5" clearance to play with.

I know it's a personal thing but I'll say it anyway, I love a sleeper! If you are of the same thought process, judging by what I have seen, you will find a way to keep it under the stock hood. Snorkel?
Keep it up Rob! Looks like you are getting close!

Thanks Man I appreciate it! Yes I want a sleeper absolutely! The first version of v6spider had a big hilborn scoop popping out the hood and I tell you every rice grinder within eye shot were rapping out their chainsaw sounding engines!
