Anyone running non stock side mirrors on their ride? I have an '81 with the remote and they have a big hole through the door for the control cable. Porsche? BMW? Vette? Looking for chrome or stainless.
Any ideas???

Not a great picture, but I have chrome circular mirrors on my 81. I think they are Chevy mirrors.

You can still find the original Vitaloni chrome mirrors on ebay from time to time. I recently bought one in excellent shape. They look great
Re: custom side mirror ideas??
While not a replacement for the remotes; I'm considering doing away with the side mirrors on the doors and going with fender mounts as used in the 60s.

Really like the MGB mirrors.
I wonder if it's blasphemy putting Britt parts on an Italian car?
I recognize the round ones from a Chevy, mid 60's muscle car. They look great too! The bullet "TEX" Britt mirrors and Lucas style are sweet too!
I think I'm leaning towards the MGB style.
Hmmm, they have a stainless interior mirror too.

Damn, now I finally get it why people always ask me: "Is that a MG?"
