Put an early grille on my 71 (thank you Ramzi!!) and after a few trips to the hardware store was able to put his original badge back on! I think it looks cool. i've been searching the web for an example of this but havent seen it. Im sure there is someone here who's done it...
They are hard to find in good shape. And they didnt sporty the fiat logo. Ive thought about useing one on my 70 but havent come across one worth having.
Thaks guys, the combo of slatted grille and large badge was in my head for a while even though I couldnt find any pics of it. It worked for me because the po deleted the holes in the hood that hold the badge when he swapped the flat hood for the small bump...
I've always thought the slatted grille gave the car the best lines. The low horizontal face looks more aggresive than the other grille options. Also the stainless grille seems much higher quality than the others but also WAY WAY heavier...
