Headlight trim rings
Any body parts interchange experts out there know if the trim rings from a late 70's Spider would be the same as those on my '82? Thanks, Ron
Re: Headlight trim rings
Not sure on the compatibility, but if those don't fit, I may have a set
from my '84. Keep you posted what I find. I know I just got new ones
last year, but what happenned to the ones that were on there, not sure.

Much thanks Gigi, I have one that got kind of dinged up somehow before I got the car.
Re: Headlight trim rings
If you have not found any yet, I have found the headlight rings at the bottom of a box in the shed-
Upon closer inspection, they are not in the best of shape-
both have rust on the inside, one much more than the other judging by the metal flaking.
Neither are glossy, rather dull, but not dented. Maybe a buff with some rubbing compound or some
Neverdulls, but I doubt they'll ever be 'new-chrome' shiny again. You could probably sand the inside
and hit it with rust-o-leum or something to keep the rust from going thru to the outside.
There are holes for a bolt or screw, but I found none in that box-
I'll be glad to send them to you-

Re: Headlight trim rings
Thanks Mark and Gigi. I got a pair that look like new a couple weeks ago.
Mark, I have to stop thinking of you as a sevice shop only and start to remember to ask you first when I need a part. My bad.
