IAP http://www.international-auto.com is now carrying them. I ordered two today for 95. each. They are coming out with new catalogue that will have them new items.
unless you are anal about details and are restoring to original the belts they offer are wayyyy overpriced. I mean universal pairs can be had for like $65 shipped on ebay the only thing you have to do is remove the "hingepoint" that some come with. Most will be plenty long... And since you are just matching black then color issues aren't a problem either.
Oh, i wasn't saying that wasn't a good price for "Italian replacement belts" or NOS belts, just seems like there are cheaper alternatives that are equally as good UNLESS you really wanna maintain the authenticity of your restoration. So Cal Mark wrote:that's about the right price for the Italian replacement belts. I sold a pair a few months back in that price range

Thanks for the advise, I did check with the BBB as you suggested. Here is what you will find, follow the below steps:mdrburchette wrote:If you're not sure of a vendor it would be prudent to check with the BBB before ordering anything. If you need the webbing renewed, you may want to check your local Automotive trim shop.
If you are considering doing business with Caribou Imports, check its Better Business Bureau report through this link: http://www.bbbsouthland.org/ . Type in "Caribou Imports" in the block labeled "BBB Company Reports."
well, I understand you are all trying to be nice about avoiding ripping on this guy, but geesh. I'll just remain impartial as well and report only that the BBB rates him with an "F". he has

The highest rating assigned to a company is AAA; the lowest is F. Between those two ratings are nine others in order from higher to lower.

The rating the Better Business Bureau assigns a business is determined by our composite score of such factors as its type of business, length of time in business, compliance with competency licensing requirements, complaint volume, complaint history, seriousness of complaints, how the company responds to complaints, and our experience with the company’s industry in general. The scoring system takes into account the importance we feel each factor is to the company’s reliability.BBB wrote:Complainants allege extensive delays with deliveries, or, that the company fails to deliver ordered auto accessories at all. Many customers complain that customer service will seldom give factual information regarding the status of their order, and fails to issue refunds or credits after cancelling as agreed. The company responds to some complaints by issuing refunds, or providing dates that orders had been shipped. Allegations of inappropriate behavior by company employees are generally not addressed. A few complaints are unresolved, meaning the customers are not satisfied with the company's response. Many complaints are unanswered. The Federal Trade Commission's Mail Order Rule allows the seller 30 days to ship ordered products to the buyer unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase. If the seller cannot ship within the 30 day period, they are required to notify the buyer in writing of the delay, and give the option of waiting, or having their money returned within seven days. Credit card payments must be credited within one billing cycle.

Replacement SEAT BELT SOURCE
Today, I received my seatbelts from IAP. Interesting, I also since ordering found another source on web for seatbelts http://www.store.yahoo.net/wescoperformance/resebe.html
They appear to be the same belts. The attached link sells them for $69.95 (IAP $95).... If they are indeed the same, there is a nice savings there. You decide.

nah, those look like universal replacements. Why else would you need to tell them if you have bench or bucket seats? besides. you just can't get the tan ones anymore. what are the odds that someone would be selling them for 40 bucks less than everyone else AND they were such a rare find (talking about tan). I DO think these would work though and I doubt anyone would ever notice.
