We still are in winter here, snow again today so I haven't had a chance to drive her yet more than down the block with these tires. I need to get here aligned yet too after the new a-arms & cut springs.
I imagine it will steer harder sitting still but once moving I think wouldn't be very noticable. What is the meaning of this "slow speed"??? Mines only got 2 speeds GO & WHOA!

Yes these wheels are badass, wanted these even before I found the right car, always have loved the look of the gun metal but was almost torn to the silver, either are spectacular & I think add to the appearance, the 15" rim & wider stance make her look kinda, a little, almost meanish.

Next is the bumperettes (if they ever get here) & the spoiler to finish the look I want. Oh & bring the back end down too.

I'll be real interested in seeing the bumperettes.

ME TOOO!
Been waiting for them, shipping from Germany said 3-5 weeks, been waiting 5 weeks but he did notify me, 2 weeks in, that they did not ship right away as he had to restock materials to make them.
They should be here any day, I'm not sweating it just eager.

What method will you use to mount them? (I'm still trying to figure how to yank mine off)!

The ones I ordered have tubes molded into the backs that fit into the stock shock holes & bolt there.

These, but got them for less. Wait for the US ebay posting & his bid price starts at $229, a set comes up every few months.

Anyone here in Massachusetts know if we can legally modify our 5mph bumpers? These look really nice, and cut a lot of weight too!

FINALLY! My bumperetes have arrived, very pleased. (kid in a candy store excited!)

I have inserted the rears & fit to the contours of the body great, can't try the fronts till I remove the brackets I made to mount the factory front markers (brackets I made mount off the factory bumper tube mounts)

All the pieces are here for the spring make-over, weather is starting to cooperate, just need to dig in & get things installed.

The fiber glass bumperettes are molded onto metal tubes which mount into the stock bumper shock holes & fasten with the original bolts.

Here's the rear ones just inserted into the factory holes (sorry it's a dark pic)

As I have been mentioning I have many pieces to be installed, bench just piled up right now with all the new upgrades...time to get to work!

I still haven't gotten anything installed yet, trying to get a few miles on her & the feeling back again after her long winter nap, before I tear into her, so I can feel what difference the upgrades make.

I did take her to work today (per "fiat spider" facebook group suggestion of bring your Spider to work day).
She does look good with her new shoes.

I like the grill update. Gives it more character.
