Anyway, my son decided he wanted to come with on the drive. We headed up the old highway near town. The road winds back and forth up the side of the gorge. I'm not sure he enjoyed it as much as I did. He says I was going too fast and it scared him. He is eight years old. I think the openness and lower ride height makes it seem faster than our other cars. Most corners had no sign of tires loosing traction. I have to admit I took one corner too fast. The front end was plowing so I down shifted to third and gave her a little gas to swing the rear out. Maybe a rear sway bar is needed to stop the plowing? Maybe I just need a front end alignment since the car has camber issues.
My next hurdle is fixing this noisy exhaust. Then on to the transmission, then the interior, then... Listing the work needed is depressing. Will it ever end? Maybe that is the fun of owning a spider. There is always something that needs attention
