depends if it leaks. Mine was much much worse, and couldn't get a seal when the coolant got up to temp it was squirting out. I got a used replacement for 25bucks. If you feel like going through the effort you could just let it run til the temp is up and see if there's any leaks. If not, I'd suggest very short trips if really necessary.

mine wasnt quite as bad, but close. I sandblasted it and smoothed the hose ends and the sender hole with JB weld.

I would try to fill some of those holes and smooth it out, or just replace it
