name that sound!

Post by Leesfer »

A bit ago I pulled the back seat off and then laid it back in place, not sure if that has to do with the sound or not but what I am hearing is a loud rattling behind the back seats. I tried taking the seats off and looking and there was nothing loose and I looked in the trunk as well and there was nothing loose. Does anyone know where this rattle might be coming from? It sounds like its directly behind the metal wall behind the rear seats, maybe to the right of the car, too.

Drive the car without the back seat and see it there is still rattling. If there is no rattling, than its the way you inserted the seat. If there is rattling without the backseat, then it might be an empty Bud Light quart bottle rattling in the trunk, LOL.

Good Luck

I'd bet on the shock absorber nut too. It happened to me and it was a bear to find.
