I have the same rocker panel covers too, mine are in ribbed aluminum, haven't figured out what to do with them yet.. They are staying on the car, but maybe will get painted or whatever.

Mine has the aluminum rocker covers also. They shine up nicely but you have to realy get low to do it. Personaly, I don't care for the wheel rings but to each his own.
The ribbed rockers were a dealer add on. Both of my cars have them, my 81 did not. My 79 has black anodized ones and my 80 has aluminum ones.
I've not seen the chrome beauty rings on the alloys before. It certainly will make your car one of a kind!
