
I had them add a 3-sided zipper around the rear window.

The top can still be lowered normally, but now I can also put the rear window down separately.

I'm really looking forward to having shade, yet all the top-down breeze for those long road trips! I also know the best way to extend the life of the window is to keep it clean & unbent, which this should help with. The zipper isn't totally waterproof, as I chose to not add a flap to cover it, trying to keep it less obvious. It can be zipped from both the inside & outside. This was done by Riggs Bro's in St Charles. The only catch is that it can ONLY be done to the top pre-installation. It would be neat if Germanex would add this as an option when ordering a new top ...
