Spider at the Prom

Here is a couple pix of my son Geoff(the white knight!)and his lovely girlfriend ,Rachel as the pose for their prom pictures.The eye candy in the pix .....my 82 Spider.The pix were taken at the Fielstone Inn here in Blairsville ,Ga.I have to look at that view every morning when I leave the house.I know...its tough!

I think you had the couple facing the wrong direction when you took the pics. The mountains in the background would have been more impressive.

Hey Pope , That would have been a great pic.I had already picked up the car when I took the view shot.Surely you didnt think I was going to let him drive it after dark?....HAH! I pass that overlook all the time,but never with the Fiat and a camera.

I'm taking my prom date out in my Spider aswell. Although its not in as nice condition as yours its still gonna be fun! Unfortunately I have to put the (old and torn) roof up so it doesnt mess up her hair...

Hey Nick ,in my day the girls wore their hair UP for the prom.They would have never gotten their head in the car!! Have fun..its something you'll always remember.Make sure to post some pictures for us old guys.

Yeah its hard for the date to outshine the Spider! The car and the brother look great.Its a lot of fun to share the car w/ the family.Once my son and his date were done w/ the pix,I swapped the cars and he got his Grand Am back.You gotta draw the line somwhere!

I didn't get any pictures of me and my date with my Spider. I wanted to but then it started raining real bad and a little water might have leaked through onto her dress.... I'll probably just get some pictures of us with it eventually though.

Tony ,you must have us confused with South Georgia!! Seriously ,this part of Georgia has the nicest climate of any where I have ever lived.Rarely hits 90 deg,gorgeous change of season ,and cold but not brutal winters.Born and raised in South Florida ,I know hot!!
