Unfortunately financial strain forced the quick sale of the 1959 600 I bought last November. Ive been searching for a wagon to use to schlep tools around town. Sold my Econoline van to fund this baby! I know Im crazy. My wife knows Im crazy but she LOVES this car and hated my van...



Paint is about 10 years old. a 10 footer but the great part is ZERO rust, a rebuilt motor (1000 miles), a rebuilt tranny (5000 miles) and a LOT of new and/or updated parts. Ive even sourced a factory roof rack which will fit perfectly on the pre-drilled mounts.

Im planning to. There is one spot blooming at the rear of the drivers side rocker. Also a little bloom on the inside/underside of the passenger door. I will be learning how to eradicate rust from the best. The PO, who only owned it for a brief time (not powerful enough for him as hes used to his beautiful sedan with its 1500 and dual carbs) is not only expert but OCD when it comes to rust removal. In fact he took care of most of the little blooms before selling it. He showed me the last remaining areas and offered to help me do it! im looking forward to learning the right way to do it. He has cars that have been outdoors for almost a decade with his rust treatment and the issues are not returned.

That is a gorgeous car! I would have snapped that one up in a heartbeat! Where did you find it?

It came up for sale last October or so on The Mirafiori forum. I inquired but it had sold. I knew the buyer and we've become closer friends since. At the time we were acquaintances and I had emailed him saying if he had any buyers remorse I would be interested.

He has another wagon that he offered to sell me once he had this one in hand. When I finally had a chance to go see that one (a few weeks ago) it was partially dismantled and too much of a project for me with my limited time and even more limited skillset. He then offered to sell me this one. I have to say I LOVE it. I cant believe how much fun it is to drive. i had to pull my Spider out this afternoon and go for a ride to remind myself how much I love it too.
