The car is a 1972 Fiat Dino 2.4 Coupe. The component in question seems to be an electric pump, but I've no idea what it pumps.

No it's not mine - unfortunately. It belongs to a member of our local club and it was on display at our last monthly meeting and we couldn't figure out what the component was.PininF wrote:Hi Curly,
Got to ask , did you get a Dino ? if so please tell me more...
To answer your question or for anything related send a pick to Phil at Bits of Italy in D'nong he knows these cars inside out and would be one of the very best Fiat mechanics here in OZ... from memory didn't phil help you out with your 124...
My new baby arrives next Thursday so will be sending it straight to Phil for a birthday![]()

Thanks Ted, I thought of that as well, but one of the pipes from that component is connected to the cam-cover - although if it's vacuum it could also be connected to a crankcase ventilation system.engineerted wrote:I could be wrong, but it could be a vacuum pump as i do not see a brake booster.
