Well the Spider really got to stretch her legs yesterday. 240 miles, most of them with the top down

. Cruised 195 to Rt 6 all the way up to Provincetown. Stopped for lunch at Wellfleet Bay for a picnic lunch of Lobster tails, potatoe chips, apple and iced tea. Then motored a short distance to the Marconi entrance to the national sea shore. Spent the afternoon on the beach watching the kids, dogs and seals . Stopped for dinner just outside the park at Marconi's resturant for bar-b-que. Delish! Headed back down Rt 6 to Rt 28 (twisty roads) back to 25 and the Bourne bridge back to 195 and home. Couldn't ask for a better day for top down driving. I think my better half and I both got sunburns on our teeth from smiling so much. Her comment was: "Is this what real people do on a Sunday???? " Wonderful.

Only had to really put the top up for the last 195 stretch after dark and 70 mph. Car ran great with Mark's new electronic ignition and gear reduction starter ( topics for another thread) . Averaged 28.75 mpg..... Did I mention how nice the day was
