Re: back seat?
so, does that sit on top of the existing seat, or replace it?

Is that a shelf ? whats the purpose ? I have an '83 and sometimes I wish I have the back seat.
Re: back seat?
Back seat, FiatColumbia1, is just a term...a phrase. No real person with legs can sit back there. that is why Pinin went with the parcel shelf.
Re: back seat?
methinks it's a storage box... I see a seam or something on the front of it. nicer than having to put everything in the trunk when you run into the store.
no idea where the roof is. this was on an ebay listing or somesuch

Re: back seat?
I do not think I would put anyone in the back seat, not to mention no seatbelts.
I will then point out my favorite feature of the Fiat Spider. The rear ashtray. I do not know who the rear seat was designed for, if it was for kids, then why the ashtray? I am not sure what legless person would fit back there, but is the smoking age in Italy 4?

Re: back seat?
Thats a very very rare example of the Ill fated Fiat "parade edition" only a handfull were made.
No roof, rear deck lid doubles as a seat. That platform is for speeches and waving to the crowd.
Ill fated because Fiat refused to manufacture a bulletproof lexan bubble. To many assinations.
