distributor oil leak????

Post by paris »

Hey, I'm looking for the paper gasket under the distributor. I had a seal sent from international but, it was a rubber one maybe for inside the distributor? Does any one know what to ask for when I reorder so I get the rite one? :?:

Why not just make one? if you dont have any gasket paper use some cardboard from a breakfast cereal box and cut it out using the old one as a template. If that doesn't work then order one. I'd describe it as the 'Distributor body to Cam box gasket'.

I've had two of those paper gaskets from vendors fail and leak. Until I made my own out of gasket material available at any auto parts store.
