how to shoot an avatar
When I try to reduce a current digital photo to avatar size, it is still too big in size. when i set my camera on its lowest resolution and then shrink it down, i can get the size down ok but the picture is so pixelized it is hardly worth looking at. So what's the secret.

I loaded it to PhotoBucket first and used their tools to adjust the avatar.

still problems. Went to photobucket and edited the pic to avatar size. all appears okay. when i copy and paste into the avatar part, it says the URL is not right. I've tried copying it through a variety of formats and they all produce the same results. Dont know what i'm doing wrong.

It rejects the avatar if it is too big. They dont really tell you that. I think it has to be smaller the 60x60 pixels.
