So Cal Event, Sat June 14th, Friends of Steve McQueen
This was mentioned in club events, but I thought I'd post updates here also. The Friends of Steve McQueen Car Show is coming up in Chino Hills on June 14th. There are several members of X Web that want to attend. What about meeting somewhere prior to the show, and arrving with a fleet of Fiats, Bertones and Lancias?
Here is the info;

I think they open around 9:00. If we all met somewhere early, say 8:30-9:00, then we'd have time to do the show and still have plenty of time afterward for the BBQ. I think it's a great idea to show up en masse. I'm not familiar with the area, so anywhere is OK with me.

I think I will be going to the show, but I dont know which car I'll take with me. I think my friend and his dad are going with his dad's X. I want to bring my Ford Pangra and my 124. Maybe I'll just chain them together....
1978 Fiat 124CS, 1980 Fiat 138 (Strada), 1979 Fiat 131 (Brava) and 1976 128 3p. There are six Pintos also.

Re: So Cal Event, Sat June 14th, Friends of Steve McQueen
Let me try to find my paperwork from the organizer. I'm thinking 7:00 is when they open for the cars that are being shown to get lined up. Then they open for the public at 8:30-9:00. I'll post later today when I find the paperwork. Keep in mind, some of us will be driving in from a ways out, so too early would be difficult.
Ron
Edit: You're right Mark, it looks like they do open at 7:00. Man, if we end up going that early, I may have to get a room the night before.

Hey SoCal FLU people! We haven't gotten together for a while lately. At this point, I only know of three for sure and one maybe that are going to show up Saturday. I'd sure like to see more of us there.
Also Mark, I take it you've been in contact with the WebX guys, do you know what we should be bringing for the BBQ? I have a portable BBQ, do you think It would be a good idea to bring it?

Pope, you might have hit on why there's not more people on board for this thing. They weren't sure if my potato salad would be there! OK gang, tell you what, if we get two more So Cal FLU people committed to attend (note I didn't say committed for attending) I'll make a batch of Ron Luxmore's World Famous Potato Salad. Go easy on me though, don't let just anybody know about this, I have to get some sleep Friday night.
