Ah that is what I thought, I would clear coat it if the car had a flawless body but there are dents in repair and all that stuff so a primer and paint is the best thing for herpope wrote:You really need an epoxy primer or polyester primer over metal to hold on to the metal. But I am sure that a clear powder coat might work because that bonds to metal perfectly
