Spotted this one today on Craigslist. These early coupes are so delicate and pretty. We recently saw a beautiful restored one on the Chesepeake Spider tour last Fall. These are hard to find. Wish I had the time and space. Hope it goes to someone who appriciates how special it is.
Spectacular indeed as he says. There aren't many left especially in that shape. Should have been more camera-savvy and pulled it out of that dusty old barn and do a better photo shoot. Setting is everything when you exhibit something you need to sell. A little detail goes a long way sometimes. Lose that spider web on that front tire, for example, show that it isn't an infrequent runner. He is in fact asking for top dollar, after all.
(It is a runner isn't it???)
Lousy photos for sure, sometimes that's laziness, sometimes that's on purpose. Looks like a USA 1969 so a 4-speed transmission would be unusual. I'd love to see the car in person or see a bunch of good photos.
... and those of us who live about 2 hrs south of there are eyeing it, and trying to convince our significant others that it wouldn't be so bad to lose more driveway space....
Although I'm not a big fan of the early ones from the front end.
