There are many and I thought it best to start from scratch.
Some of the questions or statements I saw posed in my search:
They limit the number of miles per year I can drive.
Correct, but you can ask for a higher annual milage and be charged accordingly.
You can only insure one car with Hagerty.
Nope, I just insured my second one on the same policy
You have to have the car complete before they will insure it.
Nope, Hagerty will insure it "in restoration" for an agreed value.
In my opinion, Hagerty is underwriting policies based on what you want, not their profit margins. They are incredibly easy to deal with and will help any way they can. All you need do is call them and tell them what you want.
Reason I am posting all this:
I read Russ's post about amount of restoration completion before they would issue a policy. I called them to verify what state the car would need to be in before they would cover it. 15 minutes into the conversation, I added it to my existing policy as an under construction/restoration, currently valued at $18,000.00. That value can, and will be, changed once the car is complete.
I sent them some pictures:

Ok, I sent them some other ones too... Of the bottom of the car, which looks ten times better than the top!
Jay has had great things to say about his treatment from Hagerty after Fiona got banged up so I have every expectation that they are true to their word.
So currently, I have my 77 insured for 5k at $183/year and my 81 insured for 18k at $257/year. When the 81 is done I fully plan on springing for the +/- $300/year to cover it for 25k. That is still less than a quarter of the cost with a typical policy with any major company and will at least get me 98% of my out of pocket expenses back should something happen. Forget about my labor!! It is worth NOTHING!!
All that said, call Hagerty on Monday if you have your Spider insured with your other cars on a policy with Stalefarm, Somestate or Regressive!!
Or any others you can come up with good names for!
Yes, I got paid for this commercial!! Ha!
