Car Show July 15. All Italian marques are supposed to be featured this year, but not a very good showing. Three Fiats managed to attend this event.
The guy on the right owns the blue 1974 Spider, the 500 owner is on the left! (I'm 5' 11", 210#)
Downtown parade and show July 16. Behind me in the mix were a Lancia Stratos and an Alfa Guiletta.
Damn! My car sounds good!
Cars were dispersed to three locations. This is PPG (formerly Pittsburgh Plate Glass) Plaza.
They put me between a 97 point TR6 and a Cord. The Ferrari and Cobra replica pictured earlier were also here.
I did get a chance to visit family, and drive a stretch of the PA Turnpike that I've pounded for 30 years, this time in a fun car. The actual races are this weekend, which are the highlight of the event. Not a very large Italian car turnout considering the promotion, but I met a lot of people saying, "I used to have one of these, and I still miss it".
