It was fun while it lasted...

Post by 81autospider »

I wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me out and gave me advice...I am also sad to say that I will have to sell my Fiat  ...even though I had just got it, I need to move to Texas and can only haul one car...I wish I could keep it because it is an automatic car with a open top...my move will involve driving over 1200 miles to my new destination El Paso TX.

I will also have a new career as soon as I get through truck driving school...I have lost the house the wife the dog and my job in one fair swoop...now hows that for beginners...I could tell you guys the whole story but that itself would require several pages of typing...frankly I don't have the energy for that...just deal'n with the EDD office has taken its toll on me...it's not easy getting tuition assistance to help pay for a new career school after being in construction for 15yrs...I will still be around for a few weeks and have really enjoyed my visits here at FiatSpider.com.

If you know someone who is looking for a Spider like mine, send me an e-mail http://www.getrdone67@comcast.net

I will miss you all...later...

The car is located in the Sacramento area...and looking to get at least 2500 and it does need a new top and thermo switch on the radiator...other then that, the car runs good...oh ya, the tach will need lookin at...maybe a loose wire...not sure...my friend I bought it from says that he would just tap on it and it would work again...I tried that a few times but nothing for me...the body has a few minor rust spots on the surface but nothing serious...the underneath of the body is rust free completely and in excellent shape...the car has just under 90K original, no oil drips and doesn't use oil...and just installed a new timing belt and idler pulley...the rad and heater core was replaced a few rears ago...if you guys can help find a buyer, that would be very helpful...sorry I don't have pics. 8)
