I'd like to spray engine degreaser all over the under side of my car. (81 Spider 2000). Then hose it off.
Is there anything I need to be careful of?

There are a few drain ports in the floor pans, they look like triangular downward bends in the sheet metal. They are angled backwards so they normally wouldn't collect road water. Wouldn't want degreaser or rinse getting inside and soaking the carpet or underlayment padding. If you spray up around the gearbox, and try to get the top of it clean, there is a good chance the degreaser could get inside there too, depending upon the condition of the sealing.

Depending on how much gunk is under the car, you may want to use a putty knife to scrape off as much as possible before using the degreaser. Good eye protection is a must.
