Thanks again to all. She is home resting comfortably and I hear snoring coming from her recliner/bed, so that is a good sign!! :)

The thing we have learned about cancer is that it is usually not the cancer itself that causes problems, it is all the other stuff that goes along with it, the medications, the damage to bones and organs, the pressure of the tumor on internal organs, the endless pain, the infection caused by ports, etc. it goes on and on. A truly evil, terrible disease, the scourge of far too many lives. She is stable and is doing well overall. God Bless the hard working folks at Dana Farber and all the other cancer research and treatment centers around the world that spend their lives fighting this monstrous affliction.

Well it seems to have been successful so far! Without TMI, the tumors have blocked kidney function and stents are needed, so there was much pain and frequent infection. It seems to have been resolved for now, and she is remarkably better in just a couple of days!

And as always before, I know that the big guy has been listening and lending a hand when we needed it, so thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers. :)
