dist pick-up magnet orientation?
Hey guys, which way does the magnet go, and does it differ with different pick-ups? The aftermarket pick-up I bought said that the stripe goes down, but I just purchased a dist with a Marelli pick-up and it was installed with the stripe up? Anyone know if that's correct? thanks

Re: dist pick-up magnet orientation?
Changed mine recently - stripe down - came with an instruction diagram line drawing.
Re: dist pick-up magnet orientation?
Mine installed down as well; however, I have another question. Do you have to set the pick up like you do points or is it a drop in and run with it type of deal.

You do have to set the distance between the pickup or at least make sure that its within spec, but its once and done.
