What's this part called and where can I get one?

Kept having a coolant leak at the T with filler screw...put in new gasket and still had leak. When I tried tightening the bolts down to get a better seal, the top bolt completely stripped out. After a little cussing and a busted knuckle, I found the problem:





Yeah, metal shavings and threads are FUBARed.

Considered trying to tap it for some new threads, but would rather just throw in a new one if it's not prohibitively expensive.

I'd consider just putting longer bolts through and a nut to save the $60 + shipping or just clean it up and alumaweld it.

I thought about that. The cam timing plate or whatever it's called that sits behind there restricts the length of bolt. I could probably make it work, but I don't mind spending the $60 to have it working like it's supposed to.

you could also just install a helicoil and fix what you have easily

Already purchased, delivered, and installed. Was pretty eager to get her back together and on the road. So that drip is fixed...but now I have discovered another leak, not quite sure where it's coming from...so...that's always fun lol.

I'll hold onto the old one and keep these tricks in mind for the future.
