
The hose was leaking from the lower cut hose. You can see that the hose is wet where it joins the metal line.. This hose had been previously cut and you can see the other end in my hand goes into what my manual calls a Weber electro-valve.

I couldn't hear the pump running so I remembered reading about pressure buildup in the tank so removed the gas cap which stopped the flow. I took off he lower piece of hose which was connected to the steel line and found it had 2 sections. I'm not sure what it is, perhaps just a connector?

So that is my situation and I am looking for advice as I want to drive the car to storage by Tuesday. I have already purchased 3 feet of replacement gas hose. Side note.....glad I don't have a propane heater running in my garage!!
