New from Finland

Hi all!
Here is new spider owner from Finland. This is my first Fiat, I just couldn’t resist the beauty of this red -72. This one is re-imported from US in 1999.
Any idea how to find where it has stayed in US? Previous plate was 2XVS874 but I do not know the state. Carfax does not recognize VIN because car is so old.

Good luck on trying to find the old life of your car over here in the US. This can certainly be hard. Are there any interesting odd changes to the car that might make it stand out from a normal one? This can help identify the car faster.

Difference to all other Spiders is that somebody has cut the middle part away from the FRONT bumber. So it looks a bit like rear bumber, consisting of two parts. Colour is Corso Rosso.

Perhaps we got some information about your car. The license plate ID seems to be California (as already stated) and is not known for me. Can I get your chassisno or VIN to search for it? The registry started in 1999..

Thanks for help!
Finnish plates are JMZ-30, since June 1999
US plates were 2XVS874 until 1999.
VIN 124BS1 0049498
Engine is changed to type 132 C2 040 1995cm3.
Plate in the B-pillar says manufacturing date 11/71.
Colour is now red, but originally it was orange.

thanks for car information, I add your Spider to the registry (actually offline database).
With your VIN and old license plate ID I didn't find any informations about your car, sorry!
