here's a closeup of the pattern

I put the whole thing down in only 1 1/2 hrs. I have some diamond plate on order to put at the back of the garage wall. Should look nice.

How big is your garage? I'd be interested in knowing approximately what this works out to per square foot.
Thanks,

Hey Ron... my garage is 432 sq ft (18x24) the rolls come in 7.5 8 9 & 10 foot widths and you can order by custom length

I just got mine off the shelf and they were 7.5 x 18 feet so I had to buy 3 rolls. I have some left over that I'll use to cover the doors to my shelving units at the back if I ever get around to cutting the doors to size.

the product is called g-floor...

That looks really good. Do you know how it will hold up to oil/gas/brake fluid spills? I do own a Fiat, you know.

is funny you say that..... manufacturers specs say she'll hold up to just about anything.

however, I must be the odd man out because my fiat doesn't leak anything except air from a bad stem valve.

You should be changing the air in your tires once a year anyway. Mine only marks their spot in the shop to keep other cars from parking there, but I'm a pretty messy person when it comes to working on them so I was just wondering.

Denise, are you replacing the living room carpeting with that new flooring?

Ya'll are lucky to HAVE garages.

I have a choice between my carport, the street and the in-laws driveway.

May not be such a good idea to leak on the in-law's driveway. I have seen this floor covering as well. I know Sam's Club carries it too. It actually comes in three different patterns that I am aware of: Diamond Plate, Coin (raised circles), and ribbed. Also comes in different colors. I've been contemplating going that route or the epoxy route. Haven't decided. My concern with the vinyl covering is that it will get cut up by using a jack, jack stands, etc., with the weight of the car. Also, how do you seal the seams? I am concerned about moisture, salt, etc., getting trapped under there. Let us know how is holds up.

seams aren't a problem. What I did was run a piece of vinyl strip down the underside of the seam after folding the two halves back about 6 inches (held with duct tape) and used pool repair glue to coat the vinyl strip and the two edges.

put the mat's back down by removing the duct tape and I now essentially have 1 large piece in the garage.

Could have done the same with carpet tape, but now my floor "floats" as the directions say the floor can expand up to 2% depending on weather conditions.
