Hi everyone
15 years ago my wife and I bought a 1979 Fiat Spider. We drove it for a few months in the redwoods of Northern California. I had plans to do a lot of work and fix it all up, but a medical problem forced us to drop everything. 15 years later I am well enough to take up the restoration again. I can't drive anymore but I can still work on the car, thus this site has been a huge help to me just identifying the areas of the car that need work. I don't have any real experience with car engines but I am game to give it a go. I am glad to be a member of this board, a great resource.

Brian, feel free to ask questions (likely on the technical sections of this forum), and we'll try to help. Meanwhile, where in Northern CA are you? I'm in the East Bay area of SF.
