Hi there,

I just moved to Vancouver and I'm wondering if there is a place in Vancouver where I get to have a look and/or work on my car If needed (hydraulic ramp etc.) . At home I had a little Garage and many many tools... now I miss the opportunity to get things done by myself

I thought of offering time to people as I had a hoist and separate bay at my small sawmilling operation in Summerland. Mentioned this to the insurance company and all of a sudden liability reared and premiums would have jumped.
Have a friend with a driveway and an understanding wife?
I don't know of anything in Van that offers what you are looking for, but have a look on Kijiji and perhaps ask some small shops. Remember most shops don't allow customers into their work areas because of that liability....

yeah, I guess insurance and liability is the biggest problem in BC
I have a driveway, but sometimes you just need a place where you can lift up your car

I will try to find something like a "do-it-yourself-garage" around or in Vancouver...
