happy holidays

Post by dinghyguy »

Well, the rain is falling, thinking about whether to become snow. The Fiats (Mark and Norma) are snuggled under cover, one in the too small garage and the other in the tent waiting for a cold clear dry day to be driven again.
Has been a good year in Fiat land thanks to all you forum members, for pointing out my mistakes (thanks Bryan (yes the suspension is now right), advertising their own problems (lets all band together and get wetminkey a fuel injection kit so he can give up on his new carb setup) and unselfishly sharing their knowledge with all who ask.

Thanks to all our vendors without them we could not do what we do.

F inish the damn car
I nspire us all with how nice your work is
A dmire all the other nice ones
T reasure what ya got (including the car)

Hot drink in hand, wood fire on, and wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and happy holidays.

Cheers
Dinghyguy from the too small house next to the too small garage

Thanks, Dinghyguy, and I have learned a lot from you! I'm taking a few weeks pause on the Fiats to work on my '69 Chevy C-10 pickup truck, affectionately known as "Zeke the Deep Breather". However, with a new stockpile of parts to continue the restoration on my '71 spider, I'll be back in the Fiat game early in 2020.

Happy Holidays to Everyone!!!

-Bryan, in the garage somewhat larger than Dinghyguy's, but who is nonetheless filled with admiration at all that Dinghyguy is able to accomplish in the too-small-garage.

PS: I know I said it before somewhere, but I do love the light blue color on Mark/Norma (I forget which is which...). The one in the picture with the wreath.

Thanks, Todd, and my 2020 New Years resolution is to get all Weber carburetors working as they should. That resolution would, I'm pretty sure, include a 32/36 DFEV located somewhere in the vicinity of Ault, CO.

Merry Christmas or "Frohe Weihnachten" we say here in Germany!
weather is rainy, so no snow again at Christmas! :(

Car is sleeping in the garage, battery is in the cellar hanging at the accu jogger.

One of my Christmas gifts was this:

One more toy for my collection!

Best wishes to you all!

May we all have a healthy, happy, and prosperous new year.

Santa didn't bring me the FI spider 2000 I wanted so I guess I need to go out and find one for myself...

Still looking for my very own Spider 2000 5 speed...
