Hi from Montreal, Canada

Post by 1969Fiat124Abarth »

I have owned multiple Fiats since 1978, a '69 124 Spider 1438 cc, a '78 128, a '74 124 Sport Coupe 1756 cc, and finally a '71 124 Spider 1608 cc. In addition I bought a 124 Spider and a Sport Coupe which I disassembled for parts as well as a 124 Special 4 door with a seized OHV engine and automatic transmission into which I installed a 1756 cc DOHC with a 5 speed-a great sleeper car!
Unfortunately when trying to restore my '71 Spider I found that it had too much corrosion damage and was not worth the effort so I disassembled it for parts as well.
I am looking forward to interacting with many members on this site, Bruce.

For me a sleeper car is like my friend. Volvo 740 with LT1 engine and a huge turbo.

Hi Bruce,
what a great experience with Fiats! 1978 I was riding my Bonanza bike and played with matchbox cars!

So actually you are looking again for a fiat spider? What about the disassembled Spiders? Can we get the serial numbers for the worldwide Spider registry where destroyed cars are documented as well.

Here's the filtered list for Canadian cars from Quebec:

Nice to hear / read from you.

Bye, Ralf
