Hi Guys,
I own a very original 1971 Fiat Spider and I would like to put a Fiat 2000cc engine in the car. The car has the original flat hood. Over the years, I have collected a set of OEM Weber IDF carbs (40IDF-13/40IDF-15), an OEM "waffle" intake manifold and an original Turtleback air filter assembly. In addition, I purchased a set of "lower" engine mounts from AutoRicambi. A few questions for all you experts:
1). Do you think this setup will fit in the car with the stock flat hood?
2). If not, would the "small bump" hood work? Or would I have to go to the latest "large bump" hood?
Any advice you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Mike
