Folks,
I have a 1971 1608 spider and I would like to install twin carbs. I have a set of 44 IDFs. Has anyone installed twin carbs on a 1608 using the standard 1608 accelerator cable? If so, how did you do it? Can I see you post pics of your setup? Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: 1608 with 44 IDFs
I have dual 40's on my 1971 1608 and my mechanic had to rig up something custom with a cable he got from auto ricambi. It's functional but no very pretty. I'm on the hunt for actual throttle linkage. These cars were delivered to non-use markets with dual webers, the linkage has got to be out there somewhere. This is what I'm looking. Which on saw on a 1971 car on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoD0t6DqxqE&t=23s
Good luck. Let me if you learn anything, and I will pass along what I learn.
