Well a bit about my car eh? It's a 82 pinin spider, light blue exterior, tan interior with a tan soft top. The hardtop matches the body color. I bought the car about 4 years ago, and all i had to do to get it running was adjust the TCS sensor. The car came from Virgina so it has very little body rust, pretty much just a few bubbles around the rear wheel wells. By looking it over I can tell, most noticably the bottoms of the doors, it has had body work done to it, and the light blue is not the original color. The original color was a, slightly darker greenish blue, would be the best way to describe it. Starting in August, I pulled the maunal trans. and replaced the sync. rings and springs. The housing got degreased, cleaned. and painted. After I was done with that the engine got tore down. All those parts got degreased and cleaned, and painted. The block got cast iron color, most of the other parts got silver paint, certain aluminum parts just got whire wheeled and were clear coated, with various red accents. The block got bored to accept 84.4mm high comp. pistons, the head got reworked to accept oversized valves, and installed a set of performance cams 80/40 grind. Installed hi-rev valve springs, polished the ports, had the crank polished, and replaced all the bearings. I pretty much did all the work except for the needed machine work and the polishing of the crank. There is a problem I am having but I will post that in the electrical area of the forum.

I painted the hood black to get an idea of what the color would look on the car. I plan to do what little body work there is over the winter, and hopefully be ready to paint in the spring.
