Re: Radiator Flush - Now what did I do wrong?
All back together now. Took a quick spin up Glendora Mountain Road (think uphill with lots of twisty turns). Everything feels and sounds fine. And, after all is said and done, the coolant looks better and she runs a little cooler. I think I'm going to leave well enough alone from now until after the SuperBowlTrot.
Thanks again for all your help!

Steve,
Glad nothing serious/bad happened, I think its time for a manual.

If you can't find a Manual, you could always try Eladio, he knows Fiats.

Ok - now everyone just quietly go back and look at my interior upgrade pics, and pretend this little incident never happened...

So if you stay out from under the hood all will be peachy! Don't feel bad. I gauge how well you're liked by how many people pick on you.

Re: Radiator Flush - Now what did I do wrong?
More mistakes = more friends! That's good news for me.
This is probably blasphemy - but if I had my way (and lots of money), I would let someone else do everything under the hood, and I'd spend all my time making her look pretty. Though I suspect that the more comfortable I get under the hood, the more I'll enjoy it. The more I do wrong, the more I will know what not to do next time, right?

That's right Steve the more you get to know and appreciate it the more you will enjoy it, that's what I think these cars and the therapy they provide. You'll run into plenty of "challenges" but this forum is here to help you enjoy!
Cheers

I have to disaree with these fellas. If I had my way, I'd have my own personal mechanic to keep my three Fiats running. I can find therapy elsewhere.

I'm with ya. As far as I'm concerned, driving therapy is much more effective than lying on my back in a pool of coolant therapy, or busting my knuckles on a stuck nut therapy. And it's WWAAYY better than hooking up my garden hose to the air injector hose therapy!mdrburchette wrote:I have to disaree with these fellas.
