Did a search and maybe I missed it. Was thinking of installing IAP Sport Springs on my 81 Spider. I would like a little better handling and would love to see the car lowered. Thing is, I like the compliant stock ride and don't want it to be too harsh. How does the car ride with the IAP's?
Thanks

Re: IAP Springs
What size tires are you running?
I put a set on my 80 but with 15 inch rims. I cut one coil off the rear even though IAP claims they lower the car an inch or so. Left the fronts alone as the front A arm is sloped upwards about 5-10 deg or so.
I find the ride is firm to say the least but sure is a fun car around the corners,my preferance. Perhaps a tire with more sidewall would have a bit softer ride.
I like them and if/when I get another fiat,I'll put the springs on that as well.
Hope that might help, anyone around you with the IAP springs you could test drive?

Re: IAP Springs
I have them on my cupe and my spider. Nice ride, less body lean, and not as stiff as cutting your stock springs to get the car lowered the same amount. I recommend them.
