Working all day outside,I knew it was warm. Bit of a hot spell here at the moment,( but low humidity)and am worried about the bush as it is july/august conditions already. Lots of smoke in the air from the forest fires way up north.


Going to try a 1000 km trip to Vancouver and back in the fiat this weekend,see how that goes.

hey , the weather guy said it's all northern Cal. fault Evidently a low there is causing this air to stagnate and heat up.Gonna clear up and cool off this weekend.
Bottom line Al and the scientists are right. We'll likely have snow in the mountains in July. I remember in the early 80's a 7 inch dump of snow when I lived at the local ski hill. Went out with the snow machine for an hour then came to Penticton and went water skiing. Weird weather.

Yeah, it's weird weather, alright. I'm starting to get webbing between my toes from all the rain we've been getting. Thankfully, it's supposed to stop in time for me to go to VIR for the Gold Cup Saturday!

the mosquitoes are lobbying for a moratorium on rain here as well. Today will be the third dry day in a row after 8 rainy days. the next four in a row are gonna be wet (of course, it is the weekend). Been like this since i got home from Toronto the middle of last month; when we near froze at an outdoor wedding with 2° Canadian temperature!

STILL have standing water in the front yard.

Fourth week of near constant rain in S. Florida. And, hurricane season just started!

We have been getting it in Georgia ,too.Last year we were in extreme drought,now the lake is so full they are pulling water out of it night and day.My tomatoes and beans are liking it though !!!! We planted in early May,and some of the tomatoes are over 4' tall.
