bending new brake hard lines?

Post by deacon »

I got a new set of brake lines and need to bend to match the old. Any suggestions on a hand tool that works? I assume that I will pull out the old line (front left) and bend the new one to match before installing it. I figure someone on here has done this. Thanks for any suggstions.

there are some really good tubing benders on the market, don't attempt it by hand. The tubing will kink

some day i will break down and buy a tubing bender. until then, being careful not to kink my tube, i use my hands and a large socket

Harbor freight has a pair for about $8-10 bucks. No need to buy an expensive pair for anymore than that :!:
